I am an Associate Lawyer at Korhani Law Professional Corporation and joined the team following my call to the bar in 2022.
I am passionate about family law and helping clients navigate their family law needs, especially helping protect the rights of those that need protecting.
I obtained my Bachelor of Social Science degree in political studies, public policy and administration, and African gender studies, and an honors degree in gender and transformation at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. I completed law school at Canterbury Christ Church University in England where I was an active member in the mediation, negotiation, and mooting competitions as well as being a law tutor and ambassador. I then went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in the United States of America, during which I received a Mediation and family violence certification and was actively involved in family violence-related conflict resolution and training. I then received a Masters in Law in Canadian Common law from the Osgoode School of Law at York University in Toronto, Canada. While at Osgoode, I participated in the Pro Bono Students Canada and did my placement at the Winkler Institute for Dispute Resolution. I articled at a busy Family Law firm in Timmins, Ontario.
In my spare time, I like playing tennis, exploring the great outdoors, watching nature documentaries and reading.
